Patriotic Color

One reason I like making patriotic cards is that for the USA the colors can be (don't have to be) the standard red, white and blue. This coming Thursday I am doing my first ever class that will include cards for July 4th. I think it will be fun to remember people at this time with a card made with Stampin' Up's Independence Day stamp set.Remember

I wanted a bit more color for the fire crackers so I embossed them on colored card stock with clear embossing powder and then bleached the color out. The white fire crackers were just too white. I don't use bleach often, but this was the perfect way to use it.
