Stampin’ Up! Thoughts and Prayers with Emboss Resist

One great use for solid images is the emboss resist technique. I really like how easy this card is to make and you can see how to do it below.

Stampin' Up! Thoughts and PrayersThe first step is to emboss the emboss the flower and leaves from the Thoughts and Prayers set with white powder on to the Naturals Ivory card stock. It is important to do this step first! After I embossed, I rubbed Old Olive ink over the embossing and the embossed image will come through. I then stamped the tree portion with Versamark over the embossed image. I used a tissue to wipe off the ink over the embossed areas.

I stamped the flower images in Cherry Cobbler ink and then punched them out and glued them to the focal image. The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink.
