What a great way to recycle! Repurpose the tag board from packaging.

I had picked up a copy of "Green Crafts", I think that was the name of the magazine, and it was so fun to see the way to reuse so many materials that otherwise end up in the trash. Reading that magazine inspired this tag.

Silhouette Sentiments Stampin' Up!

I don't know about you, but we end up with a lot of the thin tag board or chipboard. It commonly comes as the back of pads of paper or as product packaging. You can tell it has already been recycled once by the grain and now it is re-purposed into a gift tag.

I ran the thin chipboard through the big Shot with the Two Tags die and cut out the base for the tag. This particular tag folds up so you can write on the inside. I took a piece of Marina Mist card stock and stamped the flower image from the Silhouette Sentiments Hostess set in Marina Mist ink. I dyed the paper flower with Regal Rose ink refill. The flower center is punched from the Boho Blossoms punch with a brad through the center. I think I will have to make a set of tags like this one.
