Valentine Milk Carton Treat with the Milk Carton Die

Milk Carton Die from Stampin' Up! Designer Paper, The Big Shot and the Milk Carton Die makes this treat box on the easy side to make. I let the designer paper do the embellishing for me so I didn't have to add more. The carrier is made just from cut card stock.

I decided to close the boxes with the Bitty Buttons Stampin' Up! round Bitty Buttons backed with Real Red card stock. The designer paper is the Sending Love paper from last year's Occasions mini-catalog. Still my favorite Valenine's Day designer paper and it is still available on the Clearance Rack. If you want to see how to search the clearance rack, Click Here.

The carrier for the cartons is made from a 5 1/2" X 5 1/2" square and (2) 3 1/8" X 5 7/8" pieces of Real Red card stock.

Carrier Base: I scored each edge of the square card stock at 1 1/8" and folded. Cut in on four of the fold lines (see diagram).  Do not cut off the corners. Fold up the corners and adhere. You should now have a shallow box.

Carrier Handle: Cut out two of the large tag shapes. Score and fold at 1 1/2" up from the bottom. Glue the two tags togeter leaving portion beneath the fold apart so that they can be folder outward. Cut the top corners at an angle. Punch a 3/4" cirlcle at the top. Glue into the base of the card. Decorate.

That is my favorite paper too! I need to make some thank you gifts and I think I will make this project.
