An accidental cool background with Stampin’ Up!’s Paper Daisies!

Paper Daisies, Stampin' Up!, watercolor technique Last week I was working with different ways to color Stampin' Up!'s Paper Daisies and noticed how cool the scrap paper was looking. I figured if I did the same thing over watercolor paper it would make a great background. Here are a couple of cards I came ups with my spritzing technique.

The first step is to lay down one or more of the Paper Daisies over the watercolor paper.

For the next step, I filled a spritz bottle about half way with water and added several drops of Marina Mist refill ink. Mix the water and ink. Spritz over the Paper Daisies. If any water pools on the edges, dab up with a tissue. I let the paper dry before I removed the flowers.
