Christmas Tag #6 made with Metallic Contact Paper

Wow, where did yesterday go? I didn't have a chance to post. My daughter had a strings concert and 2 of my boys had art night at school. I had to make traditional gift of fudge for the Orchestra and Violin teachers. Whew!! I made it through. So, today you will be treated to 2 tags. The other tag will be posted later this evening. 12 tags of Christmas, Northern Frost Embossing, stampin' Up!So, here is my take on the metallic card. I had purchased some of this metallic Contact Paper ages ago and pulled it out to make this tag. This Northern Flurry Embossing Folder has seen a lot of use making these Christmas Tags.

I place the affixed the Metallic Contact Paper to a piece of12 Tags of Christmas, Stampin' Up!, Stocking Accents, Big Shot Sizzix Whisper White Card stock and cut it to tag size. I ran it through the Big Shot with the Northern Flurry folder. I brushed River Rock Craft ink over the top of the tag and then embossed it with Clear Powder. It is hard to see the River Rock ink, but it does change the look of the tag in real life. I did attach the tag to another piece of Whisper White card stock to give the tag more stability.

The two Christmas trees are from the Stocking Accents die and embossed with folders and an embossing plate. The pennant is from the Petal Cone Die and stamped with a greeting from the Christmas Greetings Stamp Set. The last embellishment is cut with the Norther Frost Sizzlit.

I went several directions until I settled on this tag and I just love the end result. Now I have more reasons to use up that Metallic Contact Paper! I hope you are enjoying these tags of Christmas.
