My Digital Studio Day 3! Backgrounds and Journaling Blocks

Ben-Track-001 I hope you are enjoying the My Digital Studio "how to" videos this week. I have to say it is great to get some scrapbooking done while I make them!

Today's video features one of my favorite features of My Digital Studio. I love the ability to use a photograph for the background. It really gives you the feeling of the event if you can use a photo.

There is also a trick to dropping the opacity of a paper for the journaling block if you do not want the background to show through. Using a bit of copy and pasting makes it super easy.

It is amazing when I scrapbook I have become more aware of the lack of pictures I am taking. I am also realizing the quality of pictures are very important too. It does not come so naturally to me so I need to start thinking about what I want to take when I pull out my camera.

Did you know that Stampin' Up! releases new downloads almost every Tuesday? The Number One Kit that I used in today's sample was released last week. Not only can you get it immediately, but there is NO SHIPPING cost so you don't have to worry about a minimum order amount. Click Here to see the most recent downloads.

Not only are the downloads instant, but if you do not use My Digital Studio you can download a version for other programs. To see how to download and install a new digital image you can watch a video tutorial (the second one down) that I made here.
