It’s A Fun Bulletin Board! So Easy To Decorate.

Bulletin-boardI started with just regular frameless cork bulletin boards and decorated them to fit my space. You are also getting a sneak peek at a new stamp set that will be in the upcoming catalog. Everything Eleanor was given to the people that attended Leadership this year.

I purchased the (3) 5 1/2" X 14" cork board tile from our local Walmart store and painted them the brown color with regular craft acrylic paint. After the paint dried I use the Craft Stampin' Spots to ink the stamp images and then stamped them on to the boards.

Stamping like this on a project, I recommend having a wet rag ready to wipe up any mistakes. If you wipe quickly you can get off any errors. You can also paint over anything you stamp that you do not like.

A picture hanging tip. These boards came with the hanging hardware and have little slots to hand over the screws. I took a dimensional and stuck it over the screw spot, colored the back (sticky) side with a water based marker and then pressed it up to the wall. The dimensionals came off and stuck to the wall right where I needed to make the holes for the screws. Frameless Cork BoardThen I pulled off the dimensionals and the ink I applied to the dimensional marked the wall in the exact spot I needed to place the screws. I hope this makes sense. It made hanging these tiles so easy.

The tile I used is in the lower right corner of this product picture by Quartet. I did find them at Staples to but they were quite a bit cheaper at Walmart.

  1. This is really nice. You did a wonderful job. I’m afraid I’m not to good at stamping. Guess I need to practice more. I like how you did the Bulletin board in three pieces. Thanks for sharing.
