Convention Inspired Betsy’s Blossom Card

Betsy's Blossom Spritzed CardI was doing some blog surfing and decided to check out the So Shelli Blog (CEO and C0-Founder of Stampin' Up) and I saw two projects she had posted. I like them both and decided to combine them.

I liked two unique features of the projects and the first one uses my favorite new product the Stampin' Spritzer. I cut a piece of chipboard with the Lattice die to use as a mask for the card front. I combined Soft Suede ink refill and rubbing alcohol to spritz over the lattice cut out. It left the design on the card front.

I then glued some of the Sahara Sand card stock to very light chipboard and cut with the Lattice die. I used a few of the pieces that fall out of the cut spaces to place next to my sentiment. The chipboard will give it a raised embossed look.

I also like how she used the Betsy's Blossoms large flower image embossed on to card stock to make the flower. The image is embossed with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder on to Raspberry Ripple card stock and then punched out with the Blossom Punch. I already love the Blossom Punch and now I know I will be using it paired with the Betsy's Blossom image. I placed one of those amazing In-Color Dahlias in the center of the flower.

Have a wonderful day!
