Faux Embossed Background Leaves

So I have this idea that I will use leaves to make a faux leaf background for a fall card and it would be great to sponge the edges. This step would highlight the background leaves and they would stand out a bit more. Well, I wasn't sure I liked the sponging so I decided to remake it and film it at the same time.

So, which one do you like better? Or are they just different? I think I could even experiment more with no embossing and different embossing. So many options! I like the layout and do like the card, but I wasn't sure about the sponging.

Watch the following video if you are not sure how to do the Faux Embossing technique. It is basically cutting shapes in the same color as the background to get a slight raised look. I changed it up a bit by running it through the Big Shot with an embossing folder. Do not run it through the Big Shot with the embossing folder If you want the raised look more prominent.
