Watercolor Winter Vintage Christmas Card

I was working with the Watercolor Winter stamp set and pulled out my Very Vanilla Designer Velvet ribbon from last year. This retired ribbon is currently available on the clearance rack at a great price. I love the ribbon with the poinsettias and then when I added the Silver Flourish Designer Frame it had a vintage look.

When I finished the card, I realized that this card just needed Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I picture vintage cards covered with glitter. It may be hard to see the glitter, but I put it on all of the flowers and berries.

Today's card was inspired by the Retro Sketches #34 challenge. I used the masking technique to place the holly and berries behind the poinsettia. You can see more information about this technique by reading this post.

We had a great fall weather this weekend. You start to appreciate every nice day at this time of the year because you know what is coming. I love fall colors and thought I would share a great picture my dad took out our front window earlier this fall. This is what I get to look at when I remember to slow down and appreciate my surroundings.
