So, Soda Pop Tops. What Do You Think?

So, I am pulling out my Soda Pop Tops and trying to figure out how I want to use them. I have not quite figured out how I like them on cards, so I have made some of them into magnets. I used the Valentine Paper More Amore with buttons, flowers and other embellishments to decorate the tops.

I used a 1" circle punch to punch out the circles of More Amore paper and placed that on the Soda Pop Topbottom of the pop top and then I covered that with a thicker layer of Crystal Effects. It takes quite a while to dry. In fact, I let it dry overnight and then added my embellishments. I also attached my embellishments with Crystal Effects Soda Pop Top and again let it dry for at least a day. I then added a magnet to the back with more Crystal Effects. The key to this project is drying time.

I plan to make more with different papers and go a complete different direction with theVintage-button embellishments. I have a couple of patterns from the Print Poetry Paper Stack in mind as I think about more magnets. I would love to hear your ideas for the Soda Pop Tops.

I am currently in Orlando for Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference and will be sharing some of the great displays that Stampin' Up! always presents at their events. It is a bit easier to share them over on Facebook so be sure to check out my Facebook Business Page.
