Embossing Series Day 3: Two-Tone Embossing

I love this Two-Tone Embossing Technique and don't know why I don't do it more often. Forget I guess. This is a fun way to get two colors embossed on one image and it is so easy. I used the Two-Tone Embossing on the large flower from the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set.

I used the Cherry Cobbler and Melon Mambo embossing powders to create the two tone look. Ink your stamp with VersaMark ink and stamp on to you paper. First, I sprinkled the Cherry Cobbler powder around the outside edge (make sure you do not place any on the center area, dumped off the extra, then I sprinkled the Melon Mambo powder over the center (you do not have to be as careful because the outside area is covered with Cherry Cobbler), and lastly heat set the entire image.

I will make a video showing how to do the technique, but we are on our second snow day in a row and having the kids home has changed my working time. Check back later today and I will have it done!
