Embossing Series Day 2: How to Use Heat & Stick Powder With Glitter

Day 2 of my embossing Series: How To Use The Heat & Stick Powder. This technique is an absolute fun way to add a sparkle to your stamped images.

Amazing Family Stamp Set With Heat & Stick Powder
This technique is amazing in person and this picture does not do justice to the card and glitter. You may be able to get a better idea of the card in the video below. You can get the color with the embossing by using a VersaMark ink pad with the Rich Razzleberry dye based pad.

how to use heat & stock with Glitter
It is very important that you start with a clean stamp and you ink with the VersaMark first and then your dye based ink. You will get your VersaMark pad very dirty if you do it in the opposite order. I have done this technique many times and it has not done anything to my dye based ink pads.

I used the Heat & Stick Powder to add the Dazzling Diamonds glitter to my image, but you can also use the Heat & Stick powder to affix colored glitter or other things like flocking. If you are trying to add an opaque material to your project, you can skip the whole ink step I did with this card.
