Distracted, But I Do Have A Sketch Card

It has been a very busy weekend and I have been distracted by Stampin’ Up!’s Convention that just ended today. I could not attend so I was watching Twitter for updates. It looks like I will have quite a few new products to share with you. We also have my son’s confirmation Sunday and I have been busy with the preparations. So, on to the card without a video this week, but I will have one next week. I had been practicing my water coloring so I had a bunch of these butterflies from Backyard Basics colored and on my desk so I figured I would use one since it was done already.

Look how great the Decorative Label Punch coordinates with the Deco Labels Framelits. That is one Rose Red Label that I cut in half and tucked behind each end. I love the flourish look of the Million & One stamp set. I have already used this set quite a bit and the font makes it work as the focal image.

This card was based off of the retrosketch #73. Do you use sketches? Sometimes it seems that I follow the sketch more closely and sometimes my end project may not even look much like the sketch, but I love starting with a sketch because it gives me direction.

Have a wonderful Sunday and come back again!
