DIY Paper Feather and EnvelopePosted by Christine Miller on Jul 23, 2013 in Cards, Uncategorized | 1 comment
This card and envelope is completely inspired by one shown at Stampin’ Up!’s recent convention because I wanted to try the techniques new to me. The envelope was a breeze to make and the paper feathers are showing up everywhere. I have photos showing the steps to make the feather below. I used the Happy Day and Chalk Talk sets for this card & envelope.
The paper feathers are easy to make with a circle punch or circle framelit. Punch out a circle and then move the punched out piece up and punch or cut again to for the pointed oval. See the step by step directions below to finish the feather..
Be sure to come back tomorrow to see a video tutorial on how to make the envelope. You can always subscribe to my blog in a reader like Feedly or sign up to receive my post via email in the right column.
