Summer and A Sketch For Gorgeous Grunge

I love summer, but it is very short here in the Keweenaw Peninsula. We have had a few days in the 80s and it is taking a toll on my house without air conditioning. It is a bit warm but bearable in here today. But on the positive side it will be back down in the 70s and high 60s over the next few days. We have also had company for the past week (that we went camping with) and it has been busy. It is all great, but I am looking forward to getting back to stamping and sharing with you! Today I am sharing a quick masculine card that I created using a sketch.

Wetlands Handmade Masculine Greeting Card

I love using sketches for starting points and when I saw this one over at CAS(E) this Sketch! I figured it would be perfect for one of my new favorite sets Gorgeous Grunge. I also decided it would be a great sketch for a masculine card made with the Wetlands stamp set. There a few great new masculine sets in this Stampin’ Up! catalog.

Well now for some rest, and I know that camping is supposed to be restful, but I came home more tired than when I left.

But it was all about family together time!

  1. I wouldn’t have thought to combine those stamp sets but they work together fabulously! Love the touches of texture too. Thanks for playing along with CAS(E) This Sketch this week!
