Summer Craft Camp: Handmade Seaside Tags

Summer Craft Camp

Welcome to the first week of Summer Craft Camp! I hope you will find the projects inspiring and touch off different ideas for you. Today’s tags have a beach theme that could be used for either a man or woman. This little tag can add a lot to a gift and make it feel more special.

By The Tide Handmade Gift Tags

Here are the basic steps I took to make these tags.

Handmade Tag

I cut out a tag with the Chalk Talk Framelits, but you can make any type of tag you like. Sponge the cut out tag with Marina Mist ink.

Stamp the coral image from the By The Tide in VersaMark ink and sprinkle with White Embossin’ Powder. Heat set.

Handmade Paper Crafted Tag
Stamp the fish or shell image with Sahara Sand ink. Cut out.

Stamp sentiment with Cajun Craze ink. Punch out with the Modern Label punch. Punch with the image to the end of the shape. Re-insert the punched out shape and punch the other edge to make it smaller.

Add a Candy Dot to one of the Base Brads and set next to the sentiment. Assemble the parts and attach to your gift. Gift your gift and make more tags for more gifts. I find that having the tags already made and on hand saves a lot of time when I need a tag.

  1. Love it! The coral image looks great embossed in white over that blue background. I think I need to make some tags to have on hand, too!
