Are You Having A Labor Day Party? Make A Couple Of These.Posted by Christine Miller on Aug 28, 2013 in 3-D, Summer Craft Camp, Uncategorized | 0 comments
I cannot believe we are already at week 5 of the Summer Craft Camp. Just in time because my kids start back to school on Tuesday and it is going to be quiet with four of them back in school. I will still have one preschooler home, but it sure will be different. I don’t mind them starting back, but I don’t mind if they are here too. Well, if you are planning a party this weekend you may want to add a little dazzle to the tables with these table decorations.
Here they are all ready to adorn your tables or buffet table and add a little bit of color to your party. I started with Starbucks Frappuccino bottles and filled the bottom of the bottle with 1 1/4″ scalloped circles cut from the Brights Paper Stack Patterns.
I used a variety of my supplies and tools to make these decorations. The “Amazing” is from the Amazing Family set with just the “Amazing” portion colored with a marker. The main piece was missing something so I added the Simply Pressed Flowers. Stamping Tip: It helps to freeze the clay when it is in the mold for a bit (about 20 minutes) before you try to release them. They are then covered with Crystal Effects to make them glossy.
The flags on the left were made with the Gingham Garden Washi Tape which is very easy to wrap around the skewers and then notch the end. The flag on the right was stamped with the Pennant Parade stamp set and punched out with the Pennant Builder punch.
Hot glue the main image to the skewer with hot glue.
Add a little glitter and other details and have a great party. I hope you enjoyed the Summer Craft Camp and keep coming by! You can find all of the supplies in my Online Store. Have a great day!
