I’ve Been Thinking About Childhood Cancer Awareness MonthPosted by Christine Miller on Sep 23, 2013 in Other Information, Uncategorized | 0 comments
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and I have been touched by those sharing their experiences with childhood cancer so I have decided to do a Ronald McDonald House Fundraiser. While I have not had to personally had to use the Ronald McDonald Houses, I know how helpful they can be to families that stay in one.
I have friends and relatives that have been directly touched with childhood cancer so I know those experiences and how treatment affects the entire family. We live in an area that most families have to travel for treatments and care which creates another hardship.
Stampin’ Up! has a partnership with the Ronald McDonald Charities that starts with a special stamp set each year.
This is a sample from last year’s Ronald McDonald set “Moving Forward” because I do not currently have this year’s set. For each Ronald McDonald House Charities set sold the houses receive $3. Stampin’ Up! has donated $100,000+ each year to RMHC plus handmade items and other activities at the individual houses.
In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness month, I have decided to do a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. I will be donating what I would earn from any order placed with a special code. (6PG6DKDB) Right now that would be about 30% of the product ordered. I am anxious to see how much I can raise through my business for this wonderful charity! The promotion will run one week and I will update through the week.
Each person that orders with the Ronald McDonald House Charities code will receive a special re-useable card from me thanking you for help me with this fundraiser. See instructions on how to use the RMHC Code (Hostess Code) below. You do not have to purchase the current RMHC set “Tag It” for me to donate, but if you do you will be adding a $3 donation from Stampin’ Up!.
