A Technique I Had Not Tried BeforePosted by Christine Miller on Jan 23, 2014 in Cards, Technique | 1 comment
I was reading my Paper Crafts magazine when I came across a technique I do not remember trying before and wanted to immediately try this easy technique. It is so cool and easy. All you need is White Pigment ink and regular Classic (dye) ink.
First I stamped the angled Whisper White card stock with White Pigment ink (must be pigment ink). I chose a smaller image without a lot of surface area. The smaller flower is stamped on the Whisper White card stock with the pigment ink and then allowed to dry. I then stamped the larger flower with more surface area over the dried pigment flowers. Can you see how the White Pigment ink as resisted the dye based ink and you can see the soft flower images coming through?
I like how this card with the new Simple Stems stamp set turned out and know I will be using this technique again. I love the soft image you get with the White Pigment Ink Resist. What do you think of this technique?
