You Need a Larger Sentiment, But How?Posted by Christine Miller on Mar 27, 2014 in Cards, Digital, Uncategorized | 0 comments
Did you know you can resize stamp brush images for My Digital Studio? I downloaded the Digital Blessed Easter stamp brush yesterday and have been able to create two different cards with the images I printed out with my home computer.
I cropped the Easter Wishes sentiment from the flower in My Digital Studio and then printed it out in Eggplant Envy ink on to Whisper White card stock. I then used an oval from the Oval Framelits Collection to cut out the sentiment with the Big Shot. The Gold Foil background was cut out with one the of the Label Dies and embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. When I need a smaller image I could easily shrink it up and make it smaller.
I added a couple images from the Petite Petals and Everything Eleanor stamp sets to decorate the card. It was so easy to make this card and I bet if I hadn’t told you, you would not realize the sentiment was printed.
Here is what I printed from my computer:
I created a few different sizes of the flowers and the sentiment. I even printed the sentiment in a few different colors for a variety of card options. You could even make Easter Dinner printables with these images.
Here is another card option that I shared on Facebook yesterday.
What if I don’t have the My Digital Studio program? You can download the digital image to use in other photo editing software like Photoshop or you can purchase the program for only $19.95. You can download a FREE 30 Day Trial of MDS if you want to try it out before you purchase the program. The great thing is that you can purchase or try out the program and/or the Stamp brush immediately and use it today.
