I like the Retro Fresh Suite and the Peachy Keen set, but I wanted to see what other stamp set would work well with the paper and washi tape from that suite. I pulled out the Six Sided Sampler set and coordinating hexagon punch and I love it!
I still had the Dictionary Background stamp on my desk and decided to use that with the Six Sided Sampler stamps. My background stamps need a bit more use and I think I should put them right there ready to go because what is handy sure gets used more often.
Isn’t this card a lot of fun and gives a nod to the retro look that is so popular right now. I love the little bit of the Tea Lace doily peeking out from behind the banner. I spritzed the doily with some of the Baked Brown Sugar ink re-fill mixed with rubbing alcohol. Using a portion of a doily has been one of my favorite ways to use the doilies lately.
The sun is shining here and it looks warmer than it is, but I need to get my afternoon activities started. Have a great day and find the supplies I used to make this card in my Online Store.
