Create An Ombre Background With Emboss Resist Technique

The emboss resist technique is one of my favorite techniques and it looks like it takes a lot of time, but it doesnt. The flowers from the Avant-Garden Sale-A-Bration set are embossed with clear powder and will resist the powder sponged over the image. I used Sweet Sugarplum, Flirty Flamingo, and Blushing Bride to create the Ombre background.

The word “love” is die cut from Basic Black cardstock and I love the contrast between the word and the background. The little “sending” is from the set Sunshine Sayings that coordinates with the Sunshine Whishes Thinlits. You can create for so many different occasions with these two products working together.
