Check Out How The Celebrations Duo Textured Impressions Folders WorkPosted by Christine Miller on Feb 7, 2017 in Cards, Tips, Uncategorized | 0 comments
Have you checked out the Celebrations Duo Textured Impression Folders yet? Instead of embossing a raised pattern, you will have a debossed word on your cardstock. You can just leave the debossed word or stamp over the word to make it stand out a bit more. I used the “Happy” folder to create this handmade birthday greeting card.

The “Birthday” is from a stamp included in the Birthday Blast set. I used a Calypso Coral marker to omit the “Happy” from the stamp and then just stamped the “Birthday” under the debossed word. By omitting parts of stamps, you can extend the stamps you own.
You may have to come to my blog to watch this video if you are reading this post in a blog reader. There are a lot of tips included in this video.
You can use any solid image over the debossed area and it will only ink the main Whisper White card stock and leave the recessed area white. The balloons work great for birthdays, but could even just use random or basic shapes. The coordinating Happy Celebrations Set includes great images to stamp over the debossed areas.
