Use a shadow to highlight your die-cut words. This So Saffron die-cut “hello” is matted with an Early Espresso die-cut word. It helps pop the word up from the background.

I used a piece of paper from the Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Paper Stack to back the die-cut word and Bermuda Bay cardstock to frame the opening. I like layering the images from the Carousel Birthday and using them for backgrounds.
