See How To Mask An Image With The Seaside Shore Stamp Set

I live near Lake Superior, which can feel like a seashore, but we don’t have all the unique fish and shells like you can find in the Seaside Shore stamp set. I love this stamp set and the coordinating By The Shore patterned paper, paper is retiring May 31st, work together to make gorgeous projects.

I decided to mask the fish to create depth on the card front because I didn’t want to fussy cut the fish. Masking is so easy once you have your masks made. Make your masks once with Post-It Note paper or masking paper and then use them again and again until they wear out. I just keep my masks in with the stamp set so they are ready to go the next time I pull out the set.

The anchor is stamped off on scrap paper to make it lighter behind the sentiment. The softer image adds nicely to the circle cut with the Stitched Shape Oval.
