A Little Red Buffalo Check With The Christmas Pines and Pretty Pines

I saw a picture of several red Buffalo Check items on Pinterest and was inspired to make this Christmas Pines Christmas card. I pulled out a sponge brayer and some red ink to color a piece of the black and white check paper from the Merry Little Christmas DSP red.

Color Your Paper Red With a Sponge Brayer

It is easy to use a sponge brayer and Real Red ink to change the color of this paper. I added a bit of Basic Black and Crumb Cake cardstock to complete the look. The White Craft stamped snowflakes on the black cardstock look like a chalkboard background.

Christmas Pines With Pretty Pines

The Christmas Pines and coordinating Pretty Pines Thinlits are found in the annual catalog, and they are beautiful. Sometimes it is so easy to get caught up in the new stuff that the older stamps get put to the side. These stamps and dies were perfect to use with the Buffalo Check paper.
