I have to say that the most common card I make for personal use is a birthday card. I love the retiring Balloon Adventures set and think is could be a perfect stamp set for making handmade birthday cards. It does have a coordinating Framelits, but you can use it without the dies. I do recommend the coordinating balloon punch though.

The background for this card is so easy because it is just a 4″ X 5 1/4″ piece of the Party Animals paper (on sale right now). The colors Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry, Pacific Point, and Emerald Envy are pulled from the paper.

Isn’t this big sentiment so great! I love the way it fills the cardstock and is perfect for the inside of a birthday card. I stamped the inside with retiring Emerald Envy and Crushed Curry.

This card was inspired by the birthday coming up at our house. I thought it would be perfect for my boys to give to their dad. I like the sentiment from the Suite Sayings set with the tie-dyed shirt. I bought the Custom Tee set exactly for cards that can be difficult to make like teen cards and masculine cards.

The Tie-Dyed stamp set is perfect to use with the Custom Tee stamp set and both of them are retiring. In fact, right now it is better to purchase the Custom Tee set and the coordinating T-Shirt Builder Framelits separately because they are both on sale before they retire.

The background is done with a splotch stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge set and the stars sponged on with the stars decorative mask and a sponge. I like the pop of the Tangerine Tango stars and sentiment on this card. You can find another Custom Tee card on my Facebook Page today.

Have you ever tried making a card with a unique fold? The Z-Fold card is the perfect card to start with because it is so easy!! Combine the fun Z-Fold card and the Carousel Birthday set, and you have a party. This card feels like you are heading to a circus, well definitely a celebration.

Scroll down to see a video tutorial on how to make this card.

How to make a Z-Fold card with the Carousel Birthday Set by Stampin' Up!. Find supplies at www.shopwithmystamplady.com
The video tutorial below walks you through this card, but the folding is only two measurements. Fold the 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in half at 5 1/2″ and then score the card front 2 1/2″ over and then fold the front back on itself. That’s it! Then embellish and decorate the card as you wish. I added the 3 3/4″ X 3 3/4″ flap to the front for my focal image.

Don’t miss all the great products that I used here that will be retiring on May 31st. Many of them are currently on sale. Scroll down to find the links to the supplies in my online store.

It’s graduation time, and I have several cards to make for graduates from different schools. It is so awesome that when you make your cards, you can personalize your graduation cards with the specific school cards. I love using the Large Number dies for adding the class year to a graduation card. I will be giving this card to my nephew.

I used the Lucky Stars (retiring) embossing folder to add the raised stars to the Basic Black and the Stars Framelits (retiring) to cut out the Silver Glimmer stars. Stars work so well for graduation cards, so I am glad I have the Stars Framelits. It is nice to have the different sized stars to work together. To make your graduation cards quickly, use the same layout and change the colors. You can always design each card specifically for each graduate if you have more time. You can find all the links for the products I used listed below.
