Wedding card idea

I think this sample would work well for a wedding card. It seems like I do not make enough wedding cards. When I am going out the door to a wedding I am looking at my cards to see what could work as a wedding card. The "Happiness Always" sentiment in the "Happy Harmony" Sell-A-Bration set works great for wedding cards. By having this set I know that I will be specifically making wedding cards to have on hand.

Happy Harmony

Here is another sample of the Sell-A-Bration sets. This set uses the "Happy Harmony" set. The flowers pictured in this card and 5 sentiments are included in this set. The sentiments have a combination of script and regular fonts. They are just beautiful. I also used a couple of backgrounds and the "Carte Postale" set in this card.

SAB Big Blossom

I was playing around with this set last night and came up with this card. When I ordered this stamp I ordered it with scrapbooking in mind, but I have seen so many cute cards done with this set. The blossom set is the same size as our background stamps.

I really like this card because it sends me right back to my high school days. I am dating myself here, but in high school I had a tote bag that was made from fabric in these colors. Right back to the 80's!  I still like pink and green together. I am using Pixie Pink and Green Galore in this sample.

There are also a few tools I used in making this card to talk about. My favorite way to use clear buttons is to white emboss them. I think it adds so much to the button and the button is perfect for the middle of the blossom set. I used the ticket edge punch to add a little interest to the corners of this card. It is nice to have multiple layers card stock punched with this corner punch. I also used the oval punches to make the sentiment. Punches can be used over and over to add details to cards. I almost forgot that I used the spritzer to add the subtle green to the background of the card. Please contact me if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! tools.

Very Punny

My second Sell-A-Bration card. This card is using the Very Punny set. It has littles images and a pun saying that coordinates. A Very fun set. You will see more SAB samples over the next few days.

My Sell-A-Bration stamps have arrived. I really like the choices this year and I think you will too. Here is my first sample with the sets. This set is called "So Very" and works well with scrapbooking and card making. This card also uses designer paper from the Winter Mini-Catalog and "Flirty" ribbon. I also used On Board chipboard and the stamp set "All In A Row".

My next project with this stamp set will be a scrapbook page.

Bright Colors

I am having fun using the colors from the new Winter Mini-catalog. They are the pinks, turquoises and browns found in this designer paper. The ribbon is called "Flirty," also from the Winter Mini-Catalog. The pink ribbon is crimped to have the folds in it. The stamps are from the Big Pieces and Wonderful Word sets. It is nice to work with the bright colors when the sun is not out very often or long these days.

The Swimmers

This is the first spread of my Arizona pictures. I am going to do more scrapping. I am going to do more scrapping. Maybe if I say it enough times it will come true. I really like scrapbooking, but the quickness of making cards usually wins out. I think if I do more scrapbooking it will come to me quicker. I plan to have my trip to Arizona done by the end of January. OK, now I said it so I have to make it come true. Keep tuned for more pages. After I loaded this 2 page spread I noticed something that I may alter just a bit. If you have a project that just does not feel right, walking away and taking a break may just be the thing you need. Sometimes  I come back and the missing piece will just fall into place.

Boxes and Bags

Here is the bag we did in the boxes and bags class last week. I cannot wait to make more of these to give out a few gifts. I used a little bit of chipboard on the card. It adds a nice dimension to the card. I just love snowflakes done up in blues and it coordinates with the designer paper so well. I really like the new designer papers that Stampin' Up! is showing in their catalogs. The new papers in the Winter Mini-Catalog are no exception. I hope you are enjoying the Holiday Season.

A Different Wish

Here is a different sample using the Simply Sent kit. I used different colors and embellishments.  I wanted to get this set because it seems like I always need birthday cards and this set can be used across the age levels. This set is packaged so nicely for a gift.

Big Pieces
