Sympathy Card

Unfortunately, lately I have needed a few sympathy cards. It is not the type of card that I typically make to have around, so I made a few more to keep and plan to make a few more so that I do not have to make them right when I need them. I used the "Natural Beauty" and "Brighter Days" set to make this card. I think this flower worked really well for a sympathy card.

Dazzling Valentine

This is the Valentine card that some of the people attending a January workshop made. I had a lot of fun demonstrating this card and using the darling "Sweet On You" set from the Winter Mini-Catalog. Pink, brown, and turquoise are really hot colors right now and so we also used the "Loves Me" designer paper found in the Winter Mini-Catalog. The center pink heart is covered in dazzling diamonds glitter and has a lot of sparkle. Glitter is a really easy and fun way to add dazzle to your projects.

Coaster Box

Here is one of the projects for the Stamp Camp scheduled for Thursday, February 15th at The Bluffs in Houghton. It is a fun box that would make a great wrapping for any small gift. Polka Dots & Paisley Take 2

Here is my second card with the Polka Dots and Paisley set. This set will be in the Spring Mini-Catalog along with a coordinating wheel and designer paper. All Stampin' Up! demonstrators received this set in December as a gift from the company. Everyone that signs up as a demonstrator in January and February will also receive this set. On Board Trio Album

I have had my On Board ATC Trio Album for quite a while, but I just was not sure how I wanted to use it and had to find the time to actually embellish it. I finished my album this weekend. I decided to make this album a technique album. I will get another album and make it an Artist Trading Card Album. I plan to make little cards to represent many techniques. Watch my class lists for classes teaching different techniques.

Stamp A Stack

Here are two samples from the recent Stamp-A-Stack that I held. We had a lot of fun using the sets that are available for FREE with a $50 purchase. These stamps are found in the Sell-A-Bration  catalog. Please contact me if you would like to see the catalog or click on the link above.  The designer paper from the "Enchante" set adds so much to the 'Happy Harmony" card. I just love both of the designer paper sets from the Winter Mini-Catalog.

A Fun Gift to Create!

I put this box and pocket notes together for a friend's birthday. It was so fun to create each little card with dimension and different kinds of embellishments. The little purse box was so easy and makes such a nice presentation.

Product Tip

For this "Carte Postale" card I used the 1 1/4" punch and the designer label punch. I punched the center flower of a square image from the "Carte Postale" set available in the Winter Mini-Catalog. I found that the 1 1/4"  circle punch fits nicely over the center circle of the designer label punch. The punched out shape from the designer label punch then can be used for a background layer for the circle. If you look at the lower right hand you can see how I used the two punches together.

Polka Dots and Paisley

I finally had time to put some ink on the new set Polka Dots and Paisley set. This is a set that will be in the Spring Mini-Catalog and all SU! demonstrators received as a gift from SU! in December.  I am happy with the card that resulted from my first attempt. This set is more of a challenge for me to work with because it is not something that I would have chosen. I can see incorporating the paisley stamp and dots into many future cards and scrapbook pages.

This set will also be included in all starter kits shipped from SU! in January and February. This set is in addition to the set for the SAB promotion. Shabby Blossom

This is the card that I swapped with my down-line. I kind of went outside of what I usually do. The elements added to the card are all faux chipboard made from thin card board and colored with craft ink. There are advantages to the cardboard and advantages to the chipboard you can purchase. I think the real chipboard takes color better and is already cut into shapes. The cardboard is thinner and can be punched into different shapes.
