More Ornaments

Here is another selection of the finished Trimmings ornaments from the class in Houghton on Monday. I designed some of them blue and some red. Today we see some of the blue ornaments. The chipboard ornaments are currently available in the Stampin' Up! Holiday mini-catalog.

Folded star tags and ornaments

My ornament class in Houghton tonight will make these folded stars. I hope they enjoy them. I designed one of them to be made from silver metallic paper and one from Cerise Designer Paper. The silver ornament is smaller and designed to be a package tag. The red ornament is a bit larger and designed to be an ornament. Both of these stars are made from a pattern that Stampin' Up! supplied on the demonstrator side of their web site.

MOPS Scrapbook

I did a scrapbook with a MOPS group in Houghton this morning. I hope they enjoyed the project. It is always an interesting endeavor to create a scrapbook for someone else. My goal for the project was for the moms to complete a book and then take it home and pop in pictures. Well, the project took a bit more time then I was anticipating so the moms have some finishing up at home. I did post the complete scrapbook in a photo album to the right. You can find the album right under the Stampin' Up! catalogs in the right hand column. The pages did not upload in order so you will find the page numbers in black right on the pages in the pictures.

Pumpkin Patch Stamping

I stamped this recently and when I did this layout I realized that I do not have any pictures from a pumpkin patch or even recent fall pictures of my children. So I have to say this layout motivated a recent trip to the local pumpkin patch in Dollar Bay. I will get those pictures printed and have them scrapped this fall.

I used the spiral punch and Stampin' Up! spiral punch to create the strips on the left edge. The spiral punch is so great for adding texture and interest to scrapbook pages. Now I can't wait to get those current pictures scrapped.

Elegant Christmas

The satin ribbon available in the Stampin' Up! Holiday mini-catalog is absolutely gorgeous. I love how it makes it easy to create an elegant Christmas card. This sample also uses the Peaceful Wishes and All Holidays sets. This card was inspired by cards I have run across on the web.

Snowmen for the Season

I think this is the first snowman card I have done  during this fall season. I have really been stuck on the snowflakes from "The Snowflake Spot" set from Stampin' Up!

This set uses the Flaky Friends set from the Fall/Winter Stampin' Up! catalog. I also used the Snow jumbo wheel and the hostess "In The Spotlight" set. It seems like I keep reaching for the In-Color colors this season. Thank goodness the In-Colors are still going to be available in the Spring/summer catalog. I cannot believe that there is only 2 1/2 months left of this current catalog. The new discontinued list will be out on December 1st.

World Card Making Day

This group of lovely looking children had a great time stamping Color-Me kits for children staying at The Ronald McDonald House  in Marshfield, WI. To celebrate World  Card Making Day I sponsored a children's event in Houghton to create these fun kits. It is amazing how creative children are when they are stamping. I hope the children staying at The Ronald McDonald House enjoy them.

 

In The Spotlight Christmas Card

I had the most wonderful evening with my family and even had some time to stamp. It has been a while since I have just stamped because I wanted to take the time for stamping.

I bought a new Papercrafts magazine last night so I used one of the layouts in the magazine to come up with this card. I have had the In The Spotlight set, which is a Stampin' Up! Level 2 hostess stamp for a while and not had a chance to use it yet. This card is busy, but I love the color combination.
