Tiered Bow

Here is a card I recently demoed at a workshop. I was showing the Tiered Bow. It was a lot of fun to do a different kind of bow. This is actually very easy to do and is made up of 3 different pieces of ribbon. If you want to see how I made this bow book a workshop today.

I used the Priceless and Short and Sweet stamp sets. Soft Sky(textured), White and Certainly Celery card stock. Paper piercer, scallops circle punch and grosgrain and satin ribbon.

Fresh Cuts

I am finally uploading a picture of a card made with the Fresh Cuts set that I ordered a while back when I was not feeling so well. This set was available in June and will be available in when the new catalog is released on August 11th.

Ahoy, Matey

I have actually had this set for quite a while and finally I have inked it up! I love the sets that are geared towards children, but I find I do not used them so much. This set is so cute and I have three boys so you would think that I would use this more often.

I used the Ahoy, Matey set and the coordinating jumbo wheel Matey's Map. These stamps are not on the Stampin' Up! retired list, but they are on the dormant list. This means that they will still be available, but will not be in the new catalog available August 11th.

Adding Photo Albums

Somebody asked me today about posting my card samples. I do post most of them through out the entries, however I have decided to add photo albums so you do not always have to scroll through the entries to see the different cards. I have posted an Embrace Life album to the left side bar. I will be adding more of the albums in the coming weeks. Many of these samples have been already been posted in the individual entries and will be just posted in a group now.

Glittered Pun Fun

Here is the card we made at last night's club meeting. We painted the image from ink pads on to watercolor  paper. I like the watercolor paper because it is so much more flexible than regular card stock. We adhered the glitter circles by putting down mini glue dots and then covering them with cosmo glitter.

The sets are Pun Fun and Fundamental Phrases. This card was inspired by many that I browsed.
