Here is a quick card that previews the new Stampin' Up! Holiday mini-catalog set "Scandinavian Seaon".
I used the new paper (which I love!) Ski Slope. I can't wait to do more with this designer paper. The colors are Real Red, Old Olive, and Baja Breeze. The tree is embossed in silver and water colored with Real Red ink.
My Holiday mini catalog pre-order just arrived and I took some time to play. This set is the first one that grabbed my eye.
I used the Top Note Die with the Big Shot for the top Kraft card stock. The snowflakes are from the Little flurries felt snowflakes from the Holiday Catalog. They come in three sizes and three colors. (Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze and White) There is also an additional sizes available in the catalog.
This is a fairly simple card using the Upsy Daisy stamp set and Urban Garden designer paper. I did use Iridescent Ice embossing powder on the flowers, but it is hard to see the glitter in the scan.
I love the Urban Garden paper and it is also the designer paper featured in my upcoming Upsy Daisy class. There are a few spots left.
Stampin' Up! has introduced online shopping! All you have to do to shop with me is click on the online shopping logo on the upper right hand side of my blog site to open my Stampin' Up! business site. Once you open my business site, you must click on "Shop Now" beneath my name.
Once you have opened the online ordering page, you must click on Customer Log on to start your customer file. Your user name is your email address and you must create a password. Your password must be between 5 and 10 characters long and must include a combination of numbers and letters. After you have set up your customer file you may return and order at anytime.
A couple of reminders: Minimum shipping is $6.95 up to $69.50 and after $69.50 the shipping switches to 10%. Once you order $150 in product you will qualify for the same benefits as a hostess.

This is one of the cards we did at our club meeting this month. The great thing about this card is that I did not have to dream it up myself. The Stampin' Up! demonstrator web site has a lot of ideas and samples to help me appear more creative.
This card was created by a very creative Stampin' Up! demonstrator and shared in a special section of the site.
I focused on punches with this card. The edge was punched with the scallop edge punch, the vases were done with the small oval punch and the flowers were done with the three flowers punch. I used Baja Breeze, Tangerine Tango, Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss card stock and inks.

This backpack pattern has been flying around SplitcoastStampers recently so I thought I would give it a try yesterday. I have to say it is really cute in real life. I used the new papers Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, and Pink Pirouette patterned paper. The top embellishment is made from a Build-A-Brad and a flower punched out from the Three Flowers punch.
I have to say that my stamping session yesterday put me in the mood for more stamping today. Off to see what I can come up with today.
I actually took time to play today and made a few projects. I have made a few here and there, but I have not sat down and taken time to actually stamp so today was a lot of fun. Look for posts more often this week.
This card uses the set Pocket Silhouettes which is one of the "Never Seen Before sale" sets that is 15% off right now. I also used Linen (retired) and Tres Chic. The colors are Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip. I also used some of the new striped Pink Pirouette Ribbon and the scallop edge punch.
