A Happy Heart 2

Here is card two with this set. We'll see how many days in a row I can actually post. I am also digging out the Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware for the first time. This piece of hardware fits around the stamped image punched out with the designer label punch. I also love the chipboard hearts covered with designer paper coordinated with this set.

A Happy Heart

 I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. We had a wonderful busy Christmas. Five children do seem to be making things busy.

I ordered this stamp set (A Happy Heart) from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini-Catalog, but I have not really used it because of the Christmas stamping. This week I have pulled out this set. The patterned paper is from the Candy Lane Designer paper. This paper is available now in the bundle special from Stampin' UP!. I have to say when I opened up the package I was in love. This is a great set of paper! Look for more cards from this set this week. Have a great New Year.

Christmas Tags

Last night I was working on tags for the gifts for my kid's teachers. I used some of last year's in-colors and the set Winter Post. I also used the rub-ons from the current Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini-catalog. I think that my favorite one is the tag with the skaters.

Gift Set

  I put together this gift set for my daughter's violin teacher. The tall tin contains a hot chocolate mix and the nugget tin has chocolate fudge. I did use up some of my retired paper from last year. The rub-on on the fudge is from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini-Catalog.

Of course, I was working on this last minute so I pulled out a bag I had made a while back. It also uses a retired set and paper. These are some of my favorite sets and paper and I wish they were still available.

Easy Gift Card Holder

This is a really easy gift card holder. The scalloped edge lifts up to reveal the gift card.

This project uses a lot of great items from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Mini Catalog. I used the Ski slope paper, Little Felt Flurries, and felt ribbon.

A Happy Heart

I used some of the stamp from the "A Happy Heart" set from the Stampin' Up! Holiday mini catalog. I love making Christmas cards, but it was kind of fun to make something different right now. Not that I have even started my own Christmas Cards yet.

The colors I used are: Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Basic Gray and Riding Hood Red.

Winter Post

I loved this ribbon as soon as I saw it in the Stampin' Up! Holiday mini catalog. I finally used some of it. I need to do a few more things with it because it is so beautiful.

I used the set Winter Post for the skaters and snowflake. The designer paper is from Ski Slope and the "Very Merry" is stamped on to a piece of vanilla card stock and adhered to chipboard. I thought the skaters needed a bit more so embossed the entire image with clear embossing powder.

Top Note Ornament

My club members made this top note die cut ornament the other night. Since I have a 4 week old baby this is the only Stampin' Up! event I have scheduled this month.

We used the Ski Slope designer paper, chipboard, Baroque Motifs, Best Yet stamp sets, and the chipboard ornaments from the Holiday Mini catalog. I wish that I would have brought my camera because everyone did things a little bit different and they all turned out so cute.
