I have a really busy day today so I need to do a quick 3X3 card made with the new Trendy Trees set. I love this set and I actually broke out the Tangerine Tango to make this card.I have not really used this color yet, but I think it is made for this set.

Well, I received my order of new product from Stampin' Up! today. I have loved all the owls and could not wait to play with this chip board set. I was trying to figure out what to have the owl sit on and realized I had ordered the Decorative Accent #2 and it was perfect to make a branch. I love that after I ran the chip board through all I had to do was run the card stock through and then I did not have to trace and cut out. It was great.
I also used the new texture plate to do the dotted background on the So Saffron card stock. The owl is covered with Close To Cocoa craft ink and then the pattern is the Weathered stamp (retired) in Chocolate Chip craft ink. I used one of the circles from the Trendy Trees set to do the circles on the branch.
I cannot wait to play with the new stuff more.
My daughter made a quilt with this fabric and I thought it matched the Raspberry Tart paper so well that I wanted to try use it. I ran it through the Big Shot with the Pennant die. I really like how this turned out. It is a 3X3 card and would make a perfect little gift card. If I have more time I will write more later.

To make these treat bags I used the Stampin' Up! "Top Note" die for the Big Shot. This has been my favorite die so far, but I do have more coming so we shall see if one of the other ones takes over. I made these quick toppers to fit on the small cello bags. I plan to make more of these, but put candy or some other treat in the bag. I only used ribbon because I didn't have any candy and I wanted to put something in to represent a filler. Candy does not last here for some reason.
I am still on a glitter kick and glitted one heart and the petals on the flower. For some reason Valentines just seem to call for glitter.
I used the "A Happy Heart", "Happy Heart Day", "Baroque Motifs" and "Soft Swirls" (retired) stamp sets.

It has been so long since I pulled out my heat and stick and glitter so last night I thought that I would play with both. The photo of this card seems a bit weird, but I was trying to get a picture that would show the glitter. I do not put a whole lot of work in to my photos so I hope you can get the idea even with the bad photo. I really like this Valentine set and am so glad that they put "A Happy Heart" in the Stampin' Up! Spring/Summer catalog. The background is done with the set called "Baroque Motifs". It really makes a nice addition to a lot of different sets.

It is coming so quickly! Sale-A-Bration I mean. I cannot believe that this is the 11th SAB in my Stampin' Up! demonstrating career. SAB has changed from when I first started, but I think is is still just as fun. It is nice that Stampin' Up! does offer choices other than stamp sets like this year they are offering ribbon and designer paper as two of the six SAB choices.
I used the SAB set called Botanical Blooms and the In-colors Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss. I was going to add a sentiment and then I decided to leave it without so I can use it as a note card or for any occasion.
I used the Stampin' Up! "Crazy For Cupcakes" set again, but this time I went in a different direction. This is a very simple card that I think would be appropriate for a child's birthday. It does not show up well in the scan, but the frosting, candle and flame are covered in crystal effects. I have wanted to use the Naturally Serif die cut alphabet for a while and finally took the plunge and did it. This was my first experience gluing on the small letters and I see that I went a little downhill at the end. I will have to improve that next time. I did like being able to move around the letters and seeing where I liked them best. The background paper is Pink Pirouette patterns. I see a birthday card class coming soon.
I think this card could brighten someone's day. I used the designer paper from the Raspberry Tart designer paper series. I actually like this card much better in real life because I think the scan kind of flattens it. It is also amazing how much the clear embossing background shows up. I have had the "Crazy For Cupcakes" set since before Christmas, but I focused on the holiday and I did not do a lot of other kinds of stamping.
