I created this digital page using the My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up! that will be available starting tomorrow, October 1st, for you to purchase. I tend to to clean and simple scrapbooking. I like to focus on the pictures.

Look Here Tree Card and Clearance Product

Hi There! I don't have a lot of time right now, but I thought I would post one of the cards that my class is making tonight. It is a class for using the pop-up dies. This one uses the Stamp set "Branch Out" and the Pop-Up Die "Look Here".

Hybrid Card

Like I have posted before, I don't really make Halloween cards so I have resisted buying the Stampin' Up! stamp set Eat, Drink and Be Scary. I have always thought it was so cute, but I didn't think I would use it much. Now with the My Digital Studio that will be available on Thursday, October 1st, I don't have to choose to purchase it. This is one of the stamp set images available in the stamp set choices and all I did was print them out on Whisper White card stock and incorporate them into a traditional card. All of the images were printed and I was even able to print the pumpkin image in Pumpkin Pie ink so that it would coordinate with the card stock.

I have only played with the My Digital Studio for just a bit, but I have been able to test drive card ideas, create scrap pages and I have even started on my photo Christmas Card. It is so easy to export the JPEG images. I have used Photoshop Elements and this program is so much easier to use!

The Movers and Shapers die is a die that allows you move around a cutting shape on the front of your card to create a window. I used the Movers and Shapers with the Curley Label to make this card above. The hole cut out is slightly larger than the shape that can be cut with coordinating punch so you can easily layer.

Halloween Treat Sweet Centers

To make this little treat package I used the stamp set called "Sweet Centers" and the "Sweet Treat Cups" available in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday mini-catalog. I used the colors Lovely Lilac, Only Orange, Basic Black and Green Galore because they coordinated so perfectly with the Halloween M&Ms that are available.

I punched out the center of the image with the 1 3/4" circle punch which coordinates with the Sweet Treat Cups. The little cups are really easy to use and come with a ring of adhesive already applied to the lip of the cup. You receive 12 cups per package.

Christmas Wreath

Christmas seems like it is far off, but it is time to start Christmas crafting (that is if you don't want to be up late every night the week of Christmas). I like this card because it would be easy to mass produce. If you make your card too complicated you may find some of the details disappear as you make your cards.

The wreath and bird are from the Stampin' Up! stamp set "Berry Christmas", the paper is from the designer series paper called "Christmas Cocoa", and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up!'s set called "Heard From The Heart". I embossed the greeting with white embossing powder so that it would be seen on the Soft Suede card stock.

Halloween Hanging

 

 

I don't really send out Halloween cards so I have been concentrating more on Halloween Decor and treat packages. This hanging is very clean and simple, but I really enjoyed making it and I think it makes good use of the Wood Sheets that Stampin' Up! has available.

The black square is made from black card stock adhered to chipboard. I did emboss the Sanded stamp on the black card stock that is hard to see, but adds a lot to the hanging in real life. I used the wide oval and large oval punches to make the pumpkins. The letters are cut out with the Big Shot and covered with Crystal Effects to make them shiny. I did add Creamy Caramel ink around the edges of the wood sheet that had been cut out with the Scalloped Square Die.

Super Easy Halloween Treat Envelope

These envelopes were super easy to make and a great way to give just a little treat for Halloween. I used the Big Shot and the scalloped envelope die to cut out the vellum card stock and fold. I embossed the images from the Stampin' Up! set called "Batty For You" in Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black on the front panel of the envelope. The hanging string is linen thread that I colored with ink to match the envelope.

Batty Treat Basket
