Tres Chic Embossing with Gold And Silver

I saw this technique quite a while ago and I loved it done with the Tres Chic Stampin' Up! background stamp. It looks so elegant with the gold and silver combination. This is one of the cards my class participants will be making tonight at my Embossing Class.

My First Abundant Hope Card

When you have a beautiful stamp set like the set "Abundant Hope" by Stampin' Up!, it is easy to make a beautiful card. I wanted to also work on the inside of this card so I did a very simple inside.

Friends 24/7 Soft Flower Card

The background damask image, from the Friends 24/7 set, stamped with Versamark and then covered with Stampin' Pastels is perfect for this card. I ran across a similar layout and through it was just so perfect for this set.

My club members made this card this week and I am so happy to be doing another round with this great group.

What you do when you have a lot of snow?

One thing you can do when you have a lot of snow is spend time stamping. You can also play in the snow. Checking out the Winter Carnival statues at Michigan Technological University on Saturday. The theme was "Games You know built in snow."

Look for these pictured scrapbooked later this week. I am trying to decide if I will use "My Digital Studio" or traditional scrapbooking.
