This little image from Pretty Postage looks really nice when you stamp it in multiples. These images are stamped in the new In-Colors Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Coral Calypso.
Doesn't the Borderlines image add a lot to the card. It is so nice to have products that coordinate together like the Wisteria Wonder ribbon and the Postage Stamp.

I used only one stamped image from the Pretty Postage set to make this beautiful card. It's a good thing I let the Beau Chateau paper do its job with this card because it made the card very quick. It seems that the end of summer vacation is just as busy and the end of the school year.
Our county fair is this weekend and it is highlight of the summer for my kids so it's going to be a busy one!

I usually end up with some partial packages of Designer Paper after they are retired and am excited to be finding so many ideas for patterned paper. This card was part of my class last night and it is the perfect use for left over Designer Paper.
I used 2 1/2" squares, but you could adjust your size to the size of the paper remaining. Then I pulled out the sewing maching and added some fun stitching to this card.

For this 3" X 6" card I let the Beyond the Garden Designer paper be the focal image. A card goes together so much more quickly if you work with you paper. I chose colors based on the paper.
This 3" X 6" card started from a 6" X 6" piece of card stock folded in half. It fits into the open end envelope sold by Stampin' Up!

Can you believe this beautiful journal started out as a basic composition book? A fifty cent composition book (Think Back To School Sale) and some Designer Series paper you have a book worthy of a gift.
I used the Bea Chateau paper to cover the front and back. The chipboard butterfly is from the Merry Medley On Board set. The smaller inner butterfly is from the Creative Elements set stamped in Marina Mist ink. Both the chipboard and stamped butterfly is covered with Mod Podge. The entire bu tterfly embellishment is attached with hot glue.
All you have to do is measure the front and back and glue (I used the Stampin' Up! glue stick) down the designer paper. I did not cover the spine on this book, but I have covered them on other books.

Are like most other paper crafters and have an overflowing paper stash? Or another common problem for paper crafters, cutting into that gorgeous 12X12 paper!
Well, I am here with a solution to both problems! I have a tutorial for this cute pencil holder. You can use it to stand on a desk or you can add magnets to the back and hang it in a locker or on a file cabinet. My daughter has claimed this one for her locker when school starts.
I started with a empty Crystal Light container that I cut down to 4" from bottom to top edge. Be sure to leave the bottom attached. I cut the top off with my craft and rubber scissors.
I cut a piece of designer paper to 4 1/2" X 9" to wrap around the plastic container. Next brush Mod Podge on to the container and lay down the paper. I brush the Mod Podge in sections so that it doesn't dry before I need it. A little bit of the paper will overlap. Place the paper flush with the bottom and leave the 1/2" extended above the top.
Make small cuts about 1/4" apart around the top of the container. Spread some Mod Podge around the top inside of the container. Press the cut edges down to the inside. Cover the entire outside of the cup with Mod Podge.
Decorate the front as desired. I used the Alphabet Simple Letters Bigz Die and the Big Shot for these letters and flowers. I used the Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper to decorate the container, letter and flowers. All of the pieces are added to the cup with hot glue.
Add magnets to the back with hot glue if you would like to hang the cup up.

It's back to work today! We had a gorgeous weekend at the edge of Lake Superior. The temperature was perfect and the weekend filled with fun activities and good friends.

Do you ever go right past a stamp set not seeing its potential? I did that with Borderlines! Then I saw a few samples and ideas with this set and now I have used it more than some of the other sets I had to have!
Isn't is so fun paired with Four Frames and Petite Pairs! The glitter on the butterflies does not show up as well in the picture as it looks in real life.
