It has been a long time since I have stamped multiple samples with one stamp set. I guess it is because I am so fortunate to have so many stamping supplies. Without my rubber stamping business I would never have such a well supplied stamp room.

The incredible stamp room is only a side benefit of the true value of my stamping business. Just a little bit of my stamping story: I started stamping when I had moved from Minneapolis (big town :)) to the tiny town I live in now (in the U.P. of Michigan). I moved because I had gotten married and that is where my husband lived.

So, I moved to a new town where I did not know many people and I had also quit my position as an elementary teacher. I did teach the first year here, but then our son Ben was born and I decided to be a stay at home mom.

I would never give up the opportunity to be a SAHM, but I wanted a bit more so I started my business when Ben was 6 months old.

So let's fast forward almost 14 years, I now have a wonderful business, made incredible friends that I would have never met without Stampin' Up!, and I have an income from a business I LOVE.

Do You Come Up With All Your Own Stamping and Scrapbooking Ideas?

I am often asked how do I come up with all my ideas? And then I often hear, I could never come up with all those ideas. You really can! Yes, some of my creations are my ideas , but a lot of them are helped along by samples and other projects I see. Today's tags are right out of the wonderful Stampin' Success magazines that demonstrators receive.

Aren't these tags absolutely gorgeous? I did have to change up a couple things, but they are almost straight from the newsletter. The Stampin' Success newsletter is absolutely amazing with both business and creative ideas to help your business.I like that I don't always have to think of everything myself.

The ornament is so easy with the Ornament Punch and a little bit of sponging. By sponging the same color ink on to the same color card stock, you can create a lot of depth. I did emboss the snowflake on to the card stock before I punched it out with the punch.
