Whew! It is finally here. I am not sure why it took so long to upload, but it did. It was almost done the first time and then something happened and it started over. Well, I made one. It was actually very easy without a lot of complicated folds and I have already filmed a video with dimensions and directions, but I do not have time to edit it today.

New Year Party Hat; Stampin' Up! Style

My son Jack is showing off the New Year's Eve Party Hat I created. Dig out those chipboard letters and the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint. I purchased a cheap hat from Wal-Mart and took it apart to use for a template. I am sure a dollar store would also have a hat to use for a template. I used 2 pieces of 12X12 card stock to make the hat, scraps of brushed gold for the stars, chipboard numbers and the Bridal Specialty paper for the folded circle.

If you look at the closeup you can see that I used the Teeny Tiny Wishes set to make the sentiment. I tied a small bit of gold cord through the button. It is hard to tell from the picture, but I  daubed a bit of the shimmer paint on the Bride paper to make it gold too.

Holiday Mix Charger Plate

Guess where I got this great Charger Plate? I bought it at Walmart for only a little over a dollar. Of course, I added the Decor Elements "Holiday Mix" from Stampin' Up! to make it beautiful. I cannot wait for a holiday party and I can place a plate of fudge or cookies in the center.

It really only took me a few minutes to embellish this plate. It took longer to figure out what I was going to do with the vinyl elements.

This plate would also make an incredible hostess gift filled with a wonderful treat. Even if you are invited to more than one party, don't worry because these plates come in a package of four and there is easily enough of the elements to make up a few of these plates.

Halloween Treat Sweet Centers

To make this little treat package I used the stamp set called "Sweet Centers" and the "Sweet Treat Cups" available in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday mini-catalog. I used the colors Lovely Lilac, Only Orange, Basic Black and Green Galore because they coordinated so perfectly with the Halloween M&Ms that are available.

I punched out the center of the image with the 1 3/4" circle punch which coordinates with the Sweet Treat Cups. The little cups are really easy to use and come with a ring of adhesive already applied to the lip of the cup. You receive 12 cups per package.

Halloween Hanging

I don't really send out Halloween cards so I have been concentrating more on Halloween Decor and treat packages. This hanging is very clean and simple, but I really enjoyed making it and I think it makes good use of the Wood Sheets that Stampin' Up! has available.

The black square is made from black card stock adhered to chipboard. I did emboss the Sanded stamp on the black card stock that is hard to see, but adds a lot to the hanging in real life. I used the wide oval and large oval punches to make the pumpkins. The letters are cut out with the Big Shot and covered with Crystal Effects to make them shiny. I did add Creamy Caramel ink around the edges of the wood sheet that had been cut out with the Scalloped Square Die.

Super Easy Halloween Treat Envelope

These envelopes were super easy to make and a great way to give just a little treat for Halloween. I used the Big Shot and the scalloped envelope die to cut out the vellum card stock and fold. I embossed the images from the Stampin' Up! set called "Batty For You" in Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black on the front panel of the envelope. The hanging string is linen thread that I colored with ink to match the envelope.
