Autumn Harvest Rub-ons Card

I have never sent Thanksgiving cards, but this year I want to send a few. That means I need to get them out in the mail tomorrow! Wow, where is this year going? It doesn't feel like Thanksgiving weather so I really have not been in that frame of mind.

I am very thankful for having so many blessings and I decided to use the Autumn Harvest rub-ons to create my cards. The focal point on this card is made by rubbing the Give Thanks rub-on greeting on to Whisper White card stock and then sponging Elegant Eggplant ink over the rub-on. The rub-on will resist the ink and give a different look than if I had used Elegant Eggplant card stock.

The leaves are cut with the Leaves #2 die for the Big Shot using the Autumn Traditions Designer Series Paper. The branch is also from the Autumn Harvest Rub-ons.

Icicle Snowflakes: I wish it was rub-ons falling from our sky.

With all the white stuff falling from our sky today I decided I had better make a snowy card today. I love the bird on the Branch from Stampin' Up!'s Icicle rub-ons and was not sure how to use them.

I really love how the snowflakes look with the flocked paper from the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Paper Series. The greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes and is stamped in Soft Suede ink. I really like the soft look of this card.

Autumn Rub-ons

This 3X3 card is made from a scrap and rub-ons. Two things I don't use very often. I had cut out a box using the Fancy Favors Die for the Big Shot from Stampin' Up! and noticed one of the scraps laying on my desk. I thought it would make a perfect addition to a card. I cut down the piece and used it to make the card coordinate with the box.

The center of the oval frame is a rub-on on a piece of More Mustard card stock and then punched out with the wide oval punch. The frame is cut out with the Lots of Tags Sizzlits with the Big Shot.
