It is a good thing I didn't have to cut all those flowers and shapes out of the this Designer Cuts card. This card is absolutely beautiful all by itself, but look at it with a few embellishments.

If you are short on time, start with one of these cards and add embellishments to make it your own. Stampin' Up! also has pre-folded note cards and envelopes that you can use to start your creative paper crafting.

The video below shows you the first steps I took with this card and then I added more to the card before I took a picture of it for this post.

Even though this card has a beautiful heart, don't think it is limited to Valentine's Day. I am sure you can think of many occasions you could use this card.

The Brand New Product: Simply Scored Diagonal

When you make such a beautiful card, you will want to make a beautiful envelope to match!

I used Everyday Enchantment DSP (love that paper) and the Simply Scored Diagonal to make the 3"X3" envelope. I am so lucky to have a preview of a brand new product that will be available from Stampin' Up! in February. The Simply Scored Diagonal Plate.

Isn't this little card so cute. This was demonstrated for us at our recent Leadership Conference. Right after that is when they gave away plates to some of the demonstrators.

I was so excited to win. This was my first Prize Patrol at a Stampin' Up! event ever! And I did scream and jump up and down. I really didn't think I would do that.

My Digital Studio Tip: Fill a punch with a photograph!

Well, we are at Day 5 and my last official day of My Digital Studio Tips and Tricks! I will have to say though that making these pages and videos has me very motivated to scrap and I love My Digital Studio. It makes scrapbooking so quick!

You know what else I like? If there is an image, embellishment or paper I need, all I have to to do is go the the online store and purchase and immediately download it. I can have it installed within a few minuets and my creating process is not interrupted!

Today's video shows how to take punch shape and fill it with a photograph. It is fun to make your photo into any punch shape. You could even use letters. That would make a really cool title.

Valentine Made with the New Framelits and P.S. I Love You

With all the new products in the Occasions Mini-Catalog, like the Framelits and Twitterpated Designer Series Paper, this card came together so quickly. I love the clean look of this card.

I have also been having so much fun with the P. S. I Love You stamp set. I really do have others, but right now I have just been going to the set. I will have other samples this week.

Isn't that Blushing Bride Twitterpaper DSP on the background gorgeous. You can also do this look with the Letterpress plate, but the paper does make it so quick! I also love the Blushing Bride and Riding Hood Red colors together.

Christmas Tree made with the Scallop Circle and Scallop Circles #2 Dies

Tag # 10 is here! I used the Big Shot with the Scallop Circle and Scallop Circles #2 dies to make my Christmas Tree.

I found you can use either side of the folded circles, but you get a lot more dimension if you put the folded sides out. I colored the Rhinestone jewels with a red Sharpie marker to get the colored jewels.

This was such a fun tag to make that I think I will show my kids how to make them and we will make tree tags or cards to go with the gifts for teachers this year.

This Christmas Tree would also be great on the front of a gift bag. I bet you could think on additional ways to use it!

Candy Folder Made with Easy Folds! Love the Glitter!

Ok, I am on a glitter roll! This easy candy holder is so cute and quick to make. You can put them together so quickly that you will want to make them for everyone on your gift giving list.

All it takes is a few simple folds and an embellishment for the front and you are done. The Simply Scored makes this project a breeze.

You start with a 9 3/4" X 3 1/2" piece of card stock for the base. You will score at 3 1/4" and 6 1/2". Cut an angle on the far right flap and then fold inward. Glue that flap down on the left side and the bottom to make a pocket. Stamp and embellish for a finished candy folder. See the video below to see the pocket made from start to finish.

Big Shot Designer Frames Tutorial/Tip today!

In honor of the Big Shot special, I have a Big Shot tip/tutorial today. You receive two frame options when you order the Designer Frames Textured Impressions Folders from Stampin' Up! It's great to receive the two folders, but they are smaller and there is a little trick to make using them easier.

I put together a quick video showing you how to use the folders and eliminate the lines from the edges.

The trick is using two pieces of  2 3/4" X 4 1/2" chipboard as a backing and changing up the sandwich. The sandwich is:

     - Multi-purpose pad on Tab 2
     - 2 pieces of chipboard
     - Folder with card stock
     - Acrylic pad
