It is so quick and easy to decorate a package with your paper crafting supplies and it make it look beautiful. I often give handmade cards for gifts and slipping them into a brown bag and decorating it makes it truly special.

Wrap A Gift with Stamps

I am so glad that Stampin’ Up! brought out the Seam Binding in Night of Navy with this catalog. I love the look and paired with one of my favorite colors, Coastal Cabana, it is stunning. Isn’t the ribbon just beautiful on this package? Of course you will want some to have on hand when you need to give a gift.

Decorated Gift Bag

How do you like these colors together? I know I will be coming back to these colors again and I love the Starburst shaped paper wrapped over the top of the package. The Typeset paper add just the right touch to the package. You can find all the supplies I used if you want to decorate your packages like this bag.

Yesterday I asked you about your favorite stamping projects and the the answer so far has been 3-D items to give away. Have you answered the question yet and entered my give away? I decided to share a treat or party favor project, which is one of my favorite stamping projects.

Christmas Fancy Favor
I used the Be Of Good Cheer Designer Series paper with the Holiday Ornaments Framelits to make the dimensional ornament for the Fancy Favor box. I was able to cut out 3 ornaments with one pass and did no stamping so the time to make these ornaments was cut way down.

  Ornament Keepsakes Fancy Favor

This box was so quick and easy to make. I can just picture a Christmas party table with one of these favors placed by each plate with a small treat or gift. You could even make them into place cards by adding the guest's name on each box. What a fun idea. I am just have to go plan a party or maybe a cookie exchange. I have always wanted to do one of those.

Don't miss out on my Blog celebration! Be sure to enter for the Postage Due give away.

Are you looking for a really cute way to package your Halloween treats this year? You can't get any cuter than the Greeting Card Kids stamp set. This little girl sitting on the pumpkin is so adorable.

Greeting Card Kids Halloween Bag

She is stamped with Black Stazon ink and colored with the Watercolor Wonder Crayons with an Aquapainter. I use the Watercolor Wonder Crayons like a pallet and pick up color from the individual crayons to "paint" the image. I really like coloring lined images and she is so fun to color. I turned the card stock into a flag and then matted it with a piece of paper from the Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper. The polka dots and flags are so popular right now and you see them all over the place.

Greeting Card Kids Halloween Treat bag
I added the Border Banter set with the Googly Ghouls to the plain paper bag. The bat and spider are a perfect addition to the sentiment from Border Banter. I know I will be using these sets together again. This bag is called a postcard bag and will the perfect size for fun Halloween treats. You could easily add homemade cookies, candy or anything you can imagine.

Stamp-a-ma-jig-positionThe image from the Border Banter set is running down the right side is one image stamped 3 times. It looks like I will have to do a better job of lining it up next time. I think I will have to pull out my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. I love that tool and use it all the time. Every time I pull it out at a class or workshop, people tell me that they never remember to use the SAMJ or have forgotten how to use the tool. Once you practice with the tool a few times you will love it too. I like using the SAMJ because I can stamp it right the first time.

July 4th Favor Rosette

Do You need a favor for a 4th of July celebration next week? Yes, it is already next week! I love the Fancy Favor Die for the Big Shot because you can July 4th Fancy Favordecorate this versatile box for any holiday. It is definitely my "go to" box when I need a cute favor.

I made a rosette from the 2012-2014 In-Color Midnight Muse paper from the Patterns Pack to stick into the box behind the treat. The rosettes are so easy when you use the Simply Scored tool to score your lines. I always use a hot glue gun to glue my folded paper into the round shape. It is so quick and easy when you use a hot glue gun and they are so cheap at your craft stores.

You could put so many different things into this box. A treat, maybe sparklers, flowers or bubble bottles. You still have time to make up a few box favors for your July 4th celebration.

I just hot glued a cut down skewer to the back of the rosette to stick into my box. I tied the plastic bag with a length of the denim ribbon.
