It is hard to believe that I am making Christmas cards, but I am working on the Carols Of Christmas class. Come to this class to make this card and get a jump start on creating your Christmas cards and you will be done before December.

The Card Front Builder Thinlit Dies coordinate with the Carols Of Christmas stamps. These dies are designed to help you create photo cards. I am using them with the coordinating stamps to create cards that do not include pictures.

The tree dies are probably my favorite and I love using them on my cards. I have cut the trees down here, but there is a nice curved bottom when you use the dies as intended. I finished the trees by brushing them with a little bit of Clear Wink Of Stella.

Do you ever create a card you just love and it is just a basic card? That is what happened to me with this card made with the Lemon Zest Bundle and Layered Leaves Dynamic Folder. I often use a strip of cardstock to ground my images, but I used a couple of strips of Washi Tape for this card front.

Layered Leaves

I have many different fruit decorations in my kitchen and am really drawn to fruit decor, but I just love how the Layered Leaves add so much depth to this card.

This card just feels bright and fresh with all the yellows and greens. I have used So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide, and Garden Green products to create this Just For You card. The sentiment comes from the Watercolor Words stamp set.

Sometimes it is best to remember that a simple layout does the job. I can’t wait to send this card off to someone.

The Cool Treats set just feels like summer and you can use this set to create a fun card like this one with the ice cream sundae. You can use a mask and sponge dauber to get the soft card background and the Marbled Stamp to stamp a background for the sundae.

The “Frozen Treats Thinlits” coordinate with the Cool Treats set so you can easily cut out the ice cream cones, sundaes, and popsicles.  I love the die sets because I avoid fussy cutting whenever possible. It makes it easy to create layers like in this card.

While making this card, I discovered how much I like the Pretty Label punch matted with an oval. I know I will be using that combination again!

Do you have trouble tying bows? During my classes, I am most frequently asked to help tie bows. I have a lot of experience so I have gotten pretty good, but the new 2017-2019 In Color Bitty Bows are perfectly tied and ready to go for you to use on a card. Here are 2 examples of ways to use the new bitty bows.

Stampin' Up! Label Me Pretty with the Berry Burst bitty bow. Find supplies at www.shopwithmystamplady.com

My first card features the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper and the Label Me Pretty stamp set. This clean and simple card is accented with one of the Berry Burst bitty bows.

On to the This Little Piggy set. I seem to like using the bitty bows with more simple cards like this “Hogs & Kisses” card with the Powder Pink pig.

The Powder Pink Bitty Bow is affixed to a strip of embossed cardstock over a black cardstock punched with the Decorative Ribbon Punch. The background is a piece of the Wood Textures patterned paper. All the supplies I have used are listed below so you can find them in my Online Store. There is a Bonus Coupon available right now so check out those cute Bitty Bows.
